A passion from way back…
diafimin… a word connecting my work and a place I love.
Derived from ancient Greek and figurative meaning “I advertise”.
Constantly moving around the world, from Kazakhstan to the Netherlands, Sweden, Canada, USA, Brazil, Taiwan, Germany, later Greece, Netherlands (again) and Singapore…
I was surrounded from young age by colors, cultures, nature and have been drawing all my life.
Spraying graffiti's at the age of 14, along with my first advertising for a 'Breakdance Show'.
During the last year of school, gaining experience in silk screen printing and photography in my free time.
From passion to studies, I went to the AKI (Academie of Fine Arts and Industrial Design) in the Netherlands.
Illustration, Fashion, AudioVisual, Art History, Painting, Sculpturing, Photography, and more.
Followed by Visual Communication studies at the Arts School in Germany.
First work experience in international advertising agencies as McCann Erickson and JWT, and then becoming a freelance graphic designer.
Travels, color impressions, combined with creativity and (visual) communication inspire my designs.
In times of total digitalization, individuality and uniqueness are more in demand than ever!
